In June 2023, Chief Justice Flynn issued two related Chief Justice Orders (CJOs) that pertain to court records requests (copies) and fees charged for various court services relating to copies of records. The CJOs update processing of electronic and other certifications and establish a mandatory process for requesting court records and tracking those requests statewide.

The two Chief Justice Orders are CJO 23-015 and CJO 23-016 for reference.

The fees for record requests will be charged based on the service court staff are providing. The fee for court staff to pull a court record is $3.00 per record request (delivered electronically) if delivered hard copy there is an additional .25 per page. The CJO also contains several exceptions regarding fees to be charged. Excerpt of fee schedule for copies provided below.

Below is a link to the records request form which includes case and audio records. The new form will route to a work queue and provide the requestor an email acknowledgement. The form also allows you to select the court where your records are located as well as a choice of delivery methods including the ability to pick up hard copy records at an alternate court location.
